Seven Deadly Sins: Lust

Off-white, stained sheets rumpled and creased over his naked body. The smell of sin lay heavy in the rented room. The cheap hotel and his credit card bill were the only witnesses to their illegitimate passion. He snored lightly as she finally found her underwear and yanked it back on. She searched for her shoes next – she had kicked them off, and now couldn’t remember where they lay.

He grunted and rolled over as she found the heels, slipped them on.

She picked up the money left on the nightstand, and slunk out the door into the cold night air.

  1. Archer says:

I Love this flash, It’s the perfect snapshot of the aftermath of lust for so many young people here, and, with the money aspect, so many unfaithful married men.

  2. David A Ludwig says:

Did you mean the cheap hotel and credit card bill were the only “witnesses” to the passion? Otherwise, still loving what you’re doing with text color and accompanying art. Very tasteful to do the aftermath instead of the actual scene with this one.

  3. Heather says:

I don’t think it had to be an unfaithful married man just because there was money involved. The oldest profession doesn’t discriminate.

I like that it could have been either his lust for her or hers for money.
    Good job.
